Product Limitations

Durability Considerations

  • Not as tough as metal/wood cases - Traditional metal or wooden cases are significantly more robust
  • Portability concerns - Risk of damage when transporting outside home/studio
  • Material characteristics:
    • PLA-CF (3D printed): Plastic-based, though relatively durable
    • Acrylic panels: Can crack or break with impact
  • Best for stationary use - Primarily designed for in-home/in-studio setup
  • Can be moved - Portable within reason, but requires careful handling
  • Primary use: Home studio or fixed installation
  • Secondary use: Careful transport for performances or sessions (with proper protection)
  • Not recommended: Frequent travel, touring, rough handling environments

Product Philosophy

  • Personal creation emphasizing joy and customization over industrial durability
  • DIY assembly keeps costs reasonable while providing building satisfaction
  • Colorful options bring personality to modular systems
  • Web-based tools simplify configuration and planning
  • Honest about limitations - designed for users who prioritize aesthetics, customization, and affordability for home use
